"I'm Luna, the smoothest operator! I'm Luna, the capable gal!"
— Luna, Dr. Stone (Manga) Chapter 157
Luna Wright (ルーナ・ライト Rūna Raito) is one of the former residents of the American Colony. Always wishing for an intelligent boyfriend, she becomes enamored with Senku's smarts and character; shifting allegiance to the Kingdom of Science and, in turn, getting the chance to date the young scientist.
Appearance[]
Luna is a curvy young woman of average height who has wild, short hair with a few locks long enough to cover her left eye. She has a small bust and broad hips and is considered to be very attractive by Carlos, Max, Moz, and several others.
For clothing, she wears a striped, form-fitting short backless dress and a choker with a star on it. She also has a pouch wrapped around her left thigh and a pair of thigh-high boots with heels. Her petrification scar takes the form of a star-shaped on her lower back.
Personality[]
Not much is known about her, though she is shown to be quite timid.
Luna seems to have a disposition against murder, as she questioned Stanley if he was really going to kill someone. However, she was silenced by his glare and proceeded to support him in his endeavor. Even when given a perfect opportunity to get a clear shot, she went so far as to make herself look like a fool to divert Stanley's signal.
A hopeless romantic, Luna often fantasizes of marrying and living an easy life, a habit she had even before her petrification. She later mentioned that her type of man is an intelligent, hardworking man with conviction to match. True to word, while she believed Taiju to be their head scientist, she didn't feel attracted to him but instead felt attracted to Senku.
Despite being asked to find out which passenger was Dr. Taiju, she came up with a romanticized version of him that didn't fit him and didn't notice he wasn't the scientist after interacting with Senku, who made no qualms about hiding his intelligence when he used science to make soft serve ice cream to tempt her. However, she has slowly become suspicious of him after hearing of his association with Xeno. After she officially learns Senku is the scientist, Luna helps tend to his wounds and asks him to be her boyfriend.
While Luna often comes off as snobbish and air-headed due to coming from a wealthy and influential family, she is not one to rest on her laurels and prefers to earn her place. She is shown to have great persistence, being displayed to have great diligence in her medical school studies, even repeating courses she failed instead of bowing out.
