Summary[]
With Senku still confined to the bed, Chrome's team begins work on the tunnel to Xeno's base.
Plot Details[]
Hyoga digs a tunnel using his kan-ryu style, but Tsukasa realizes a drill will be needed for bedrock. Kaseki creates a drill bit, which Ryusui decides to have Taiju deliver to Chrome, trusting his strength. On the way, Taiju is spotted by Carlos and Max. After a brief scuffle, Carlos joins Taiju, and they discuss Luna's care for Senku. Upon reaching Chrome, Taiju is shocked when Chrome ties up Carlos, fearing he might leak the tunnel operation to Xeno. Carlos is stunned by the tunnel plans, but is more surprised when the team uses the drill to break through bedrock.
Meanwhile, Ryusui and Kaseki continue constructing the aircraft carrier and plane, while Luna cares for Senku, performing a transfusion and demanding Senku become her boyfriend in exchange for her help. Tsukasa and Hyoga continue tunneling, and Carlos finally agrees to draw a map of Xeno’s castle after Luna reveals she and Senku are now a couple. Gen decodes Luna's encrypted message, while Xeno plans a project for the final battle.
Luna and Francois discuss relationships at the bar, with Luna believing Senku is genuinely interested in her, despite the crew’s guilt about his past behavior. Luna is also informed that Senku once married for ambition and later divorced. Soon, Yo notices Stanley's returns with his plane, the crew prepares for battle.
Finally, Ryusui and the team finish preparing the aircraft carrier and plane for the impending aerial battle between Senku and Stanley. As the Kingdom of Science prepares to confront Stanley, the Perseus is completed and converted into an aircraft carrier, featuring a pneumatic catapult that enables the launch of their captured airplane despite the short runway. Without hesitation, the Kingdom takes off, with Ryusui piloting the aircraft and Senku accompanying him.
