Dr. STONE 4D Science (
Synopsis[]
In order to organize the scientists of the world and build a time machine, Xeno hosts a conference explaining their plans which goes down badly, as no one believes it's truly possible to do. One of the main issues is the massive amount of energy required, which Xeno assures will be found on the moon, which they intend to build a base on. Again, this is ridiculed as massive amounts of fuel is required to get to the moon in the first place.
To test whether or not they succeed in time travel in the future, the Kingdom of Science set up a receiver for petrification waves in a specific location on a specific date, so that their future can send back a message they can hear. After a pause, they get a Morse message back from someone claiming to be Byakuya Ishigami.[1]
Invigorated by the apparent success, the Kingdom of Science gets to work making a space elevator to more efficiently transport things to the moon. Using the properties of silkworm silk and the petrification beam's stone, they develop a space elevator cable and, with the electromagnetic properties of the stone, a linear motor car to travel along it as well. With the preliminary tests working well, they begin work on a full scale elevator.
Meanwhile, Ryusui is suspicious of how well everything seems to be going, and investigates. He hears that the petrification device's battery wore out sooner than expected, and that the Kanto region has unusually had no mosquitoes that summer. He enlists people to help him find petrified mosquitoes, and confronts the device with his discoveries.[2]
The device admits to faking the Morse message in order to unite humanity for its goal of making a time machine, but promises that if humanity succeeds in the future, then it will use the time travel to petrify Byakuya and prove it works. Of course, this prompts a hunt for Byakuya's body across both Treasure Island and Ishigami Village's graveyard which is promptly dug up, the result of which is unknown.[3]
