New World Map (
The hot air balloon alights from its maiden voyage in Ishigami Village, the villagers having prepared a feast for Senku's return. Ryusui is excited for the food, but is disappointed by the entirely fish-based meal.
While eating, Turquoise catches Senku up on the last few months, saying that not much had happened. Ryusui asks how long Senku plans to stay in the village for, and he responds 1-2 years, depending on how soon they can find oil. Desperate for a better lifestyle, Ryusui sets off scanning the land from the hot air balloon once more, but this time with Kohaku acting as their eyes.
With the land and air surveyors, they create a new map of the region, discovering new resources such as a cedar grove, goats, and more. By the end, they show the other villagers their map and they're very impressed. Happy about the access to more food, Alumi tears up in relief that they won't lose anyone else to starvation.
Ryusui and Kohaku discuss the past of the village, revealing that frequent food shortages reduced their numbers heavily, and that most of Turquoise's family died of starvation. They decide to focus on agriculture, and soon find a field of wheat they can harvest.
