Liars and Truth Tellers (ウソつきと
Summary[]
Taiju and Yuzuriha attempt to win over the guard assigned to watch their movements using the phone left by Senku. Nikki refuses to even listen to them until she hears the voice of Lillian Weinberg, her favorite singer.
Senku feeds them a lie, saying that the US is up and running. Nikki demands proof that the person on the phone really is Lillian, and asks how many CDs she sold in total. Senku quickly estimates a value using the cost of a seat on the Soyuz rocket and other data he extrapolates, guessing over 60 million CDs. Gen then bluffs, saying that they had a 50 million CDs sold party, and above that they don't know. Nikki believes it, but asks one more question: what are her three measurements.
Senku calculates these values once more from an image his father shared from when he'd met Lillian, and shares his estimates with Gen. Nikki says that her profile always claimed she was smaller, and calls Gen out for being unprofessional, and therefore not really Lillian. Rather than continuing the conversation, Senku begins to play the record. Nikki knows that that voice isn't fake, and asks if it's possible to bring back more songs. He says no, but promises to preserve the remains of Lillian’s songs. Nikki agrees to join the Kingdom of Science, and help Gen work on his impression.
