Treasure Dungeon (
At the mouth of the cave, Senku points out that the water coming from it is warm, and that they're definitely in the right place. While traversing the caverns, Chrome remains wary of Magma's intentions. He whispers to Senku asking if bringing Magma along was really a good idea. Senku says they didn't really have a choice, and worrying about it now is pointless since there's nothing they can do.
While walking, Senku realizes they've reached a mica deposit: incredibly unstable ground. Magma asks if they're deep enough that if you fell into one, you'd never get out. A piece of the ground begins cracking under Senku's feet, and Magma slams him out of the way. Magma himself then begins falling into the mica pit, but Senku catches his hand. Chrome tells Senku that Magma tried to shove him into the pit, and Magma leans into it, saying that that was of course his plan, though tears well up in his eyes. He tells Senku that he wishes he'd never shown up, because he cost him his place as the Village Chief.
Moments later, they both fall into the pit. Senku tries to find a way out while Magma waits to die. Chrome splashes water on them from above, hoping to fill the pit so they can swim out. Senku offers a better plan: using a siphon. He calculates that it'll take several hours for the pit to fill, but it's better than nothing. Senku directs Chrome on how to make it, and he does.
In the mean time, Senku explains that a world of science needs both thinkers like himself, and strong members like Magma, as they embrace the diversity. Everyone has a role in the Kingdom of Science. After a few hours of the pit filling with water, Magma realizes that Senku is struggling a lot, and throws him the last bit of the way out of the water.
