Human (HUMAN (ヒューマン) Hyūman) is the two hundred and thirtieth chapter of the Dr. Stone manga.

The petrification devices continue to explain their original plan for Earth. They reveal that in Earth's atmosphere, they begin to rust, and thus the pile found in Manaus was effectively their graveyard. The oxygen is poisonous to them.

When Senku and the others were on the motorboat testing the GPS, the devices had assumed they were unaware of them. When they discovered later that the remaining humans did know of their existence, and furthermore could activate those devices using radiowaves, they immediately copied the command, but set it to petrify the whole world rather than just 5 meters as Senku had said.

After the events in South America, the devices felt relieved that these other humans would also know the glory of Petrification, until they realized they were awakening once more and rejecting the gift of eternal life. With no other logical explanation, they asked "do you wanna die?".

The single device in the Kingdom of Science's possession, when sealed away in the vacuum chamber and no longer being poisoned by the atmosphere, woke up and tried to fulfill the goal of petrifying everyone, but ended up smashing the glass, causing it to become inert again.

Senku then asks why the devices would petrify everyone for thousands of years, given the fact it destroyed humanity's scientific civilization. Their only answer was that they had assumed humans were more advanced than they really were. Because of this, Senku says humanity is willing to learn, but first requests that he negotiate with them face to face, without anyone else. The devices seem to agree, and encircle Senku, stopping any radio waves escaping the sphere.

Senku's request? That the devices lend him their bodies for some mysterious plan...
