Science Underdogs (
Summary[]
As people celebrate finally having spotted Why-man on the lunar surface, Suika and Chrome lament that they've run out of time. The Kingdom prepares to build the final one way rocket, as the two amateur scientists are nowhere near completing their secret two-way plan.
A flash of inspiration hits Chrome, and the newbie scientist pair hold a conference the next morning. Chrome proposes a rocket that connects in 5 pieces, assembled in space. Most of the participants are shocked, but Xeno and Senku realistically consider the idea. The main issue is the number of interlocking parts necessary, but Ryusui points out it wouldn't be the first time they'd had a hellish crafting drive.
Having run the numbers, it's theoretically possible, and Chrome calls for everyone to hold a vote on which route they'd prefer. Using Sai's voting machines, it's a unanimous yes for the 2-way rocket. In order to complete this harder mission and organize their global teams, Senku declares they'll bring back the internet.

Chapter Notes[]
- Chrome comes up with a different rocket design to rival Senku's.
- A vote is placed to decide which method to use.
- It's decided the world will build a multi-part combining rocket to ensure a safe two-way trip to the moon.
- Senku plans to bring back the internet.
Trivia[]
- The map shown on the last page is the old world map rather than the one shown in the previous chapter.
- Although once again Chrome was beaten by the modern timers of the past at coming up with a brilliant idea, for the first time this is one idea that wasn't actually accomplished in the modern world.
- The five "Senku Birds", which are the sections of the rocket to be assembled in orbit, may be a reference to the five Thunderbirds, which are the vehicles from the 1965 british science fiction series of the same name.
