Superalloys (
Summary[]
The chapter begins with Dr. Xeno officially joining the Kingdom of Science. He then makes a device to extract the argon from the atmosphere, allowing them to make Geiger counters. With the new technology, they locate several ores: ilmenite, molybdenite, pyrochlore, nickel and chrome.
They still lack iron, however, and decide to recover the Perseus as the hull was made of it. Kaseki was saddened by the damage and vowed to replace it, but the others simply tore apart what remained. Instead, Senku told him they were planning on improving it with better materials. This news delights Kaseki while Gen remarks that Senku knew how to win him over.
Next, they set up a workshop on Isla Martin Garcia to make the superalloys they need. The first alloy made is stainless steel, which they use to make canned goods and better knives. Many more people are revived, including locals and more of the American Colony. Maya, Charlotte and the others are told of the Why-man, as well as the plan to aim for the moon using a newly built radio.
To cover more ground, Senku and Xeno split up. Xeno is left in charge of building the rocket engine while Senku builds the new Perseus. Later, Xeno comments that the stainless steel he made earlier is only level 1, and higher levels require deadly gases. Xeno states the journey to making a rocket requires a villain, ready to take on the darker side of science, and happily takes up the mantle. By contrast, Senku is the light that will lead them all towards a brighter future.
Chrome and Kohaku consider the unity of the team and the power of different people coming together as one to defeat a common enemy. Superalloy City is founded, with several people enjoying their revival.

- The cover may be an homage to Berserk, as its mangaka, Kentaro Miura, died a month prior.
- Ginro and Matsukaze have been revived off-screen.
- One panel shows Carlos looking on awkwardly as Max revives someone that looks a lot like him. The significance was never elaborated on but it might imply it was a relative.
