Until We Meet Again (また
Summary
The chapter opens with the Earth been in engulfed in the petrification beam. In Fort Medusa, Chrome and Gen have just heard the plan and wonder how they're going to avoid being petrified for millennia once more. Along with Kaseki, they suggest various ideas such as a timed drip or throwing a pot like they had back on Treasure Island. Before he can respond, Senku gets shot.
The petrification beam then becomes visible on the horizon, making the Americans realize what's coming. While Leonard is distracted by the light, Ukyo expertly slices through Francois's bindings, allowing them to free themselves and the others with Matsukaze and Ginro subduing Leonard. Suika rushes to where Francois points out the Revival Fluid is, but Xeno had predicted this and Stanley and his men shoot them all down.
Stanley and Xeno are finally reunited after "almost 100 days" of being apart. Xeno decides their revival plan will be to simply throw a large amount of revival fluid into the air right before the beam hits. Except all of it seems to be gone from Francois' bag. Suika has taken it!
The Americans chase after her, up into the fort. They being shooting at her and she trips, breaking all but one bottle which Chrome catches and tosses up to Gen, who was in the top of the tower to place it at the focal point of the sound cannon. The plan is for some natural sound to be loud enough to crack the bottle, spilling revival fluid onto anyone below.
Since Senku is unable to move, he asks Suika if she wants to be helpful, telling her to get to the base of the tower as she's the only one who can. In the mean time, Chrome, Kaseki and Gen are trying to hold Stanley back. Stone begins covering Senku's body as he bids farewell to Xeno, for now.
